It feels so good to be paddling again here in Canada after a long absence. While our winter wasn’t very severe this year (in Toronto anyway), we can’t paddle from November to April/May.
I hope that by now you have been able to register for France 2026. I can’t believe it is only 2 years away. The time will fly by! There are so many things to think about already – will I need a new passport, will I need visas for the other countries I’ll be visiting, where will I stay and what will I do? I want to start packing now!
I’ve been busy putting together an international composite team for France. I had no idea how much work was involved! I have included an article about my experiences with this.
For those of you who were in New Zealand, you might remember that a large number of bogus Facebook and Instagram pages popped up claiming to be from the IBCPC. I wish we had a way to prevent them, but we don’t. There is an article on how to recognize and prevent these scams.
Thank you for your submissions to this newsletter. It is wonderful to hear of the great work that you are doing. The deadline for the next newsletter is August 1st. You can submit your articles and pics anytime!
Paddles up!
