These are all great questions, and we have some GREAT answers!

  • Be part of an International organization whose mandate is to encourage the development of BCS teams within the framework of participation and inclusiveness.

  • Be part of an organization with a membership of over 320 BCS team, worldwide, representing approx. 15,000 breast cancer survivors globally.

  • Be part of an organization who promotes a healthy lifestyle for those who are diagnosed with breast cancer because Exercise is Medicine!

  • Being part of the IBCPC provides breast cancer survivors with the opportunity to network with International teams, to share information, receive regular newsletters and updates.

  • To share best practices with other teams and to interact with other paddlers around the world!

  • Promotion of events that include breast cancer categories.

  • Facilitate outreach programs to support the formation of new breast cancer teams.

  • The opportunity to participate in the International BCS Participatory Festival held every 4 years at exciting places around the world.

  • Be able to travel anywhere in the world and join in paddling with a breast cancer team.

  • This Non-Competitive festival is an all BCS event with thousands of breast cancer survivors in a sea of PINK all supporting each other and enjoying LIFE!
