Celebrating off the Water
2023 was a very busy year for Chemo Savvy. We had a much-awaited clinic with Kamini Jain in the spring. Two local festivals (in Winnipeg), a bus trip to Bemidji, Minnesota (got to hang out with a wonderful local BCS team), and a pre-pandemic planned trip to Montreal for the Quebec Cup.
As a team we like to party and are known for our dance parties (even on zoom if necessary). This December we got together to celebrate the holidays and the 2023 season. We all had an amazing time and had fun with a photo booth.
Our river has finally frozen over which means the work begins again shortly. Excited to see what 2024 brings us.
The team is abuzz with plans for France 2026. It seems like a long time off, but it will go in a blink of the eye. I’m excited to attend my first IBCPC festival and our team veterans are already sharing tons of stories and advice. I’ve heard tell of a bear named Peggy. Chemo Savvy will definitely see you all in 2026.
